2026 Exam Season: Results

Families come to us for different reasons. Some students want to reach their full potential and secure a grade 8 or 9. Others want to build confidence in the subject they find hardest. This summer, we saw both and are pleased to share a summary of these achievements. We hope our students enjoyed their long summer break after a hard exam season, and thoroughly celebrated their achievements. It is hard to believe my own results day was over 6 years ago now (pictured, August 2020). 

Summer Highlights

Our students sat GCSEs across maths, English, the sciences, humanities and languages. Here are the moments we are proudest of.

  • Three grade 9s, in Latin, biology and physics
  • 13 grades at 8 or 9
  • Grade jumps of up to three grades in a single subject
  • Five students rose two or more grades within six months of tuition

Success Stories

One GCSE student switched from foundation to higher tier maths shortly before her exams. With less than a month of tuition, she moved from a 4 to a 5. Her family told us: "Her tutor Alice was really helpful in supporting her with filling in gaps in her knowledge... This really helped her confidence going into the exams."

We also received a great review following our GCSE workshops. A student worked with Kieran for just a few hours during these workshops and improved from a 7 to an 8 in maths and from a 6 to a 7 in biology.

One A-level student had been with us for more than two years. His consistent effort with his tutor, Laurie, helped him achieve an A in A-level maths! Another A-level student had less than a month of geography tuition with Ella before their exams. They moved from a C to a B and won a place at their first-choice university.
